GREAT Harwood Town stretched their unbeaten run to 17 NWCL Division Two games with a 'four-midable' performance at Castleton Gabriels.

And 17-year-old Matty Derbyshire took all the plaudits by snatching all four of the Robins' goals.

The young striker opened his account by calmly slotting the ball home after using his electric pace to leave the host's defence for dead, and he grabbed his second before the break in almost identical fashion.

In the second half, fellow 17-year-old Darren Rogers played his part in Derbyshire's hat-trick goal - the right midfielder followed up a great first touch with an accurate cross that Derbyshire headed into the top corner.

Derbyshire completed the rout by heading over the Rochdale side's keeper following a long kick from Town number one Paul Snape.

Great Harwood boss John Hughes said: "Castleton are struggling at the moment and we were expected to win but you've still got to play what's in front of you. Matty was on fire and he could easily have had two hat-tricks - I urge fans to come down to tonight's game at the Showground to take a look at him - as he's certainly something special."
