SCHOOL and college leavers are invited to attend an all-day Careers Mela at King George's Hall, Blackburn, tomorrow .
The event, organised by the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, is aimed at introducing young people to the career options available to them.
The event is free and will be run from 9am until 7pm, with 23 participating companies.
Last year's event in Burnley attracted 2,500 people and organisers are hoping for upwards of 3,000 job seekers at this event.
The aim is to provide teenagers with a look at the world of work and many local training providers, including Training 2000, will be amongst the companies advertising on the day.
Representatives from Accrington and Rossendale College and Blackburn College will be on hand to offer help and advice and there will also be representatives from the armed and naval forces and members of the ambulance and nursing services in attendance.
