LEE Sculpher has praised his side for bouncing back from a week of severe change at Clitheroe.
The Blues were rocked by the departure of chairman Dave Burgess, then Chris Whittingham and Neil Reynolds made the step up to the UniBond First Division by joining Paul Lynch at Rossendale United.
But the Shawbridge outfit rallied to continue their impressive league form by beating Trafford 3-1.
Manager Sculpher said: "Last week was a difficult week for us but we went out there on Saturday and went about our business in the right way, which was pleasing. And the crowd responded well, which was also a boost for us.
"We obviously had to make a couple of changes to the side due to the departures but at times we defended very well and when we got the opportunity we took our chances, which we haven't done in the last couple of weeks."
Clitheroe entertain Alsager tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
Sculpher will need a late fitness test after cutting his eye in a clash of heads on Saturday, while Barrie Hart may be unavailable for selection.
