FIFTEEN-year-old Hannah Greenough came third in the National Junior Chef of the Year competition judged by Gary Rhodes.
Hannah, a pupil at St Wilfrid's was representing Blackburn College at the contest held in Broadstairs, Kent.
College tutor Iain Steele said: "Hannah worked very hard in preparing for the event and I am very proud of her performance."
Hannah won £100, a medal, a signed Gary Rhodes book, a set of chef's knives, a full chef's uniform sponsored by P & O Ferries and a trip to Calais.
