MUMS, dads and children are invited to be construction Workers for the day on Saturday, October 11.
They are being invited to take part in a day of activities at Blackburn Central Library Learning Centre to include model building.
The event is part of the annual Family Learning Weekend organised by the Campaign for Learning to raise awareness of the vital role played by families in supporting learning.
It also aims to create more family learning opportunities at home and in the community.
The event which will run from 10am to 1pm is free but booking is required.
Alison Dickinson, Northern manager for Family Learning Weekend said: "People are naturally curious, and through participating in Family Learning Weekend activities we hope to stimulate curiosity and re-awaken a love of learning."
