A 78-YEAR-OLD woman found collapsed on the bathroom floor at her home in Rishton died of natural causes.
An inquest heard that police forced entry to Edna Allan's house in Thornhill Avenue when neighbours reported that they had not seen her for a few days.
Earlier the inquest heard from her nephew, Gerald Landon, that Mrs Allan was a very active person who did all her own household chores and left the house on a daily basis, sometimes to go bird watching.
A post-mortem examination could not establish a cause of death but concluded that it had not been anything other than a natural cause.
