LEIGH RMI ladies had a convincing 6-3 win over Manchester Stingers.
Simone Robinson put Leigh ahead, but although the Stingers equalised RMI dominated and Joanne Wood gave them the lead again.
Stingers levelled before Lou Sumner and Wood put Leigh in command. A penalty hauled Stingers back before Sumner made it five. Now in total control Leigh pressed for a sixth which eventually came via Nicola Jones after a goal mouth scramble.
