A NELSON motorist has denied causing the death of a fellow student by dangerous driving in a brief, formal hearing at Manchester Crown Court yesterday.
Sadakat Hussein, 19, of Beaufort Street, will appear for trial on January 19 after conditional bail was renewed.
The victim, Jonathan Roberts, 19, from Wilcot, Nescliffe, Shropshire was hit by a car when crossing Oxford Road, Manchester in March.
Hussein is studying at Manchester Metropolitan University. The victim was in his second year at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
