ADRIAN Jones trekked 18 miles along a section of Hadrian's Wall and helped raise an expected £50,000 for the Down's Syndrome Association.
Adrian, whose son Gareth has the condition, is a partner in the family run Blackmoor Service Station near Tyldesley. He was one of 50 walkers supporting the Association and is pictured with Creamline Dairies manager Andrew Partington who provided £350 sponsorship.
"I'd like to thank everyone for their support. So far I've raised around £800," said Adrian, who walked from Melkridge to Lanercost Priory and back.
