PUPILS from 14 schools will wear mufti for a day to help cancer sufferers.
The Wigan and Leigh Group of fundraisers for Christie's has organised a non-uniform, fancy dress fun day to boost the hospital appeal.
Children from St Michael's CE, Howe Bridge, St Paul's CE and St John's, Kirkhall Lane, Leigh, St Benedict's RC and Brookfield High, Hindley, will each pay £1 to be allowed to wear their own clothes on October 10.
The hospital's full size cuddly bear, Christine, will be at St Michael's to meet the children and collect their donations.
