NEWCHURCH WI members enjoyed a ventriloquism demo by Colin and Kate Spenser and their "other family".
Colin outlined a brief history of audio illusion and demonstrated his skill with models he had made and Kate had dressed. They learned in the USA there is even a retirement home for 500 dummies.
The club president thanked everyone who contributed to the successful stall at Culcheth Sports Club Fun Day and Wyn Worthington for her pot plant.
Members are searching for unwanted jewellery to benefit Alzheimer's Research.
