CALLING all nurseries! Can you help Tommy's baby charity raise some money and maybe win a Merc and a box of TOMY toys?
On Friday, October 3 nurseries nationwide will hold Teddy Bears' Picnics and Tommy's are asking that children be allowed to take in their favourite teddy in return for a £1 donation.
The proceeds will go towards helping parents who go through the trauma of premature birth, stillbirth or miscarriage.
Leigh-based Tommy's North West area fundraiser Lesley Wardle explained: "Tommy's main aim is to find the answers to parents' questions -- and doctors can rarely give an explanation."
The nursery which collects the most money from its picnic will enjoy the use of a Mercedes convertible for a weekend and a box of toys for the children. Two runners-up will also receive toys.
Tommy's need to receive all donations by Friday, October 31.
