A VILLAGE church is seeking a louder voice in helping to sort out problems in the community.
Golborne St Thomas' has chosen to undergo a Parish Assessment and Review and is appealing to residents to have their say.
The PAR programme has been prepared to help churches understand themselves, to reflect on their purpose in their area and to become more effective and outward looking.
Part of the evaluation includes a community questionnaire and these will be available from mini post boxes dotted around the area.
Church spokesman Chris Smith said: 'We are hoping to address people's concerns, see what changes residents would like to see and what the major conflicts are in the area.
"Other questions will relate to the role of the church and how local people feel it could be more involved within the community and vice versa.
"The data gathered will help us gain a clearer picture and a louder voice as to what people want.
"I appeal to people not to be apathetic and to fill in the questionnaire. We need as many people as possible to let their views be known."
