AN INQUEST in Blackburn has been told that a 19-year-old girl who died while on holiday in Cyprus jumped from a sixth floor balcony.
Caroline Booth, of Ambleside Drive, was on holiday with members of her family and her partner at the Eden Beach Holiday Apartments, in Limassol, when she plunged to her death at approximately 11.30pm on September 11. At the opening of an inquest, Coroner's Officer PC Julie Christian said Miss Booth "climbed on to the balcony and just jumped". She said a post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death to be multiple injuries. The inquest was adjourned until January 6.
