REGARDING Roy Whitehead's doubting neighbours (LET, September 20), I am appalled that these people can be allowed to question his disability and object to him having a parking space outside his house.
He has been suffering for 15 years and will go on suffering until the day he dies.
His neighbours do not realise what spinal pain is like. The only judges in this matter are his doctor and orthopaedic consultant.
I am pleased that the Social Services and the County Council have supported Roy and that our councillors have voted to overrule the objectors and let common sense prevail.
