THE community wardens Roy, Jill and Andrea, undertook a mountain bike challenge around the Mary Towneley loop last weekend.
Three young children from the Rosegrove area, Joanne Cowan, Paul Burrows and Craig McEvoy, took part in the challenge.
The Mary Townely loop is 47 miles long and the cycling was spread over three days -- staying two nights in hostels.
The community wardens would like to thank all who took part and would like to offer their congratulations to the young people on finishing the challenge.
TOMORROW at 7pm, St Mark's Church, Rossendale Road, is holding an Italian evening. Admission is £3 including the first drink. Come along and savour the flavours of the Mediterranean.
THE area is being targeted by flytippers. Help to keep it clean by reporting the culprits.
THE Action Group is holding coffee mornings at the shop on Mondays and Thursdays from 9.30am to 11.30am. The shop, in Lowerhouse Lane, has been decorated and refurbished with a grant of £4,997 from Burnley Community Chest Fund.
People of Rosegrove have donated money and bulbs for the peace garden.
