LYTHAM - LYTHAM St Annes Forum has just started a new season of Wednesday meetings at Lytham's Park Street Methodist Hall.
The forum is a group of retired men meeting every Wednesday between September and March at 10.15am for a programme of lectures on a wide variety of subjects.
Speaker on October 1 will be retired test pilot Eric Bucklow, talking about test flying.

BISPHAM
BISPHAM United Reformed Church Ladies' Friendship Group will be holding its monthly coffee morning in the church hall, Warbreck Drive, on Wednesday (October 1) at 10.30am.

BLACKPOOL
BLOOD donor sessions will take place at Waterloo Methodist Church, Spen Corner, Waterloo Road on Wednesday (October 1), 2pm-4pm and 5.30pm-7.30pm.
BLACKPOOL and Fylde Ladies Luncheon and Supper Club next meets on Wednesday evening (October 1) at the Gables Balmoral Hotel.

ST ANNES on Sea Women's Institute holds its annual meeting on Friday, October 3 at the United Reformed Church Hall, St George's Road, at 2pm. The competition will be 'an autumn posy'. There will also be a craft display and demonstrations.

MEMORIES will be the theme of the next meeting of Lytham St Annes Floral Society on Wednesday (October 1) at Lowther Pavilion, Lowther Gardens. The speaker will be Hesketh Bank's Joan Twigger. The meeting starts at 7.30pm. There is a £4 fee for guests.
KIRKHAM
RESIDENTS of Kirkham, Wesham, Wrea Green, Freckleton or Warton who look after a relative, partner, child or friend at home are invited to the first meeting tomorrow (Friday) of a new carers group.
There will also be a talk by the Pension Service about benefits available to carers.
