PUPILS at Haslingden Primary School have been given access all areas thanks to a new lift.
The school, in Ryefield Avenue, installed the lift in the main building to help disabled children get round the school.
Ann Maguire, head of Key Stage One at the school, said the lift had made life much better for those pupils who find it hard to use the stairs.
She added: "The lift has been put in to make sure everyone can get around. It has improved the quality of life at the school."
