A NAKED Gun-type spoof awaits theatre lovers in Blackburn Arts Club's Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime by David Tristram, which runs from tonight until October 4.
Inspector Drake faces his greatest ever challenge, as he attempts to unravel a twisted plot.
Who is the mysterious Doctor Short, and why did he marry a warthog? Has he murdered his fourth wife - or did she murder him first?
Has he really got two daughters called Sabrina, or is one of them telling porkies? Where is Frank the taxi driver? What was the Pope doing in the woods?
And, perhaps most importantly of all, why is there a lamppost in the living room? Produced by Paul McGowan, the play will be staged at The Club Theatre, Gibraltar Street, Blackburn -- just off Dukes Brow.
Tickets are available from (01254) 52024 or (01254) 52910 and are £5 for adults, with concessions available on Tuesday and Wednesday at £3.50.
