A COLNE woman who filled in a council survey has landed a £200 prize.
Kathryn Thompson won first prize in a draw among council tenants who completed a survey into the repair and maintenance of council properties.
The survey was carried out by a research company for Pendle Council's housing service to find out what tenants thought about repairs and maintenance the council has carried out in the last 12 months.
Sharon Pickles, Pendle Council's tenant participation officer, said: "The aim of the survey was to collect tenants' opinions and current levels of satisfaction about the repairs and maintenance service provided by the council.
"We wanted to get tenants involved and ask them what they thought the council's priorities for future investment in the housing stock should be and what improvements we could make to the service.
"We would like to pass on our congratulations to the prize winners and thank all of the 1,130 people who responded."
Second prize of £100 was won by Michael Whiteley, of Nelson, followed by Joanne Nutter of Barnoldswick, who received £50.
