DELROY Facey is looking to kick off the second month of his loan spell at Burnley by keeping up his 100 per cent Vicarage Road record tonight.
The Bolton Wanderers striker, along with team-mate Gareth Farrelly, is spending another month at Turf Moor in a deal which keeps Clarets winger Glen Little at the Reebok Stadium for a further four weeks.
And Facey is searching for the goal that will break his Burnley duck at Watford, where he scored on his only previous appearance during his Huddersfield Town days.
The 23-year-old hit the winner for the Terriers there in December 2000 and will hope to for a repeat performance in tonight's Division One clash.
"I played at Watford once before and scored, so if I can take that positive attitude into the game hopefully I'll put the ball in the back of the net," said Facey.
"I'm hoping to keep up my 100 per cent record and hope we can go down there and get the three points.
"When you are a striker that's what you're there to do, put the ball in the net, and unfortunately I haven't done that as yet.
"But the chances are coming thick and fast and if I keep getting in those positions I'll put one in."
But his absence from the scoresheet is the only negative aspect of Facey's first month at Burnley, and is relishing the chance to extend his stay.
"I'm just hoping to maintain my form and keep up my fitness," added Facey. "Hopefully the Bolton scouts will be coming to keep a watch on me and hopefully I can make more progress.
"The first couple of games took a bit of getting used to but I'm used to it now. I haven't got on the scoresheet but as long as we keep picking up the points that's the main thing for Burnley."
Meanwhile, the Burnley boss is looking forward to another away trip in the Carling Cup, this time to Premiership strugglers Wolves in the third round.
Ternent said: "It's a very good place to go and a big stadium so hopefully we'll give it a good go and see if we can make progress.
"Like any manager you would like to be drawn at home but unfortunately we haven't been that lucky with draws for quite a while.
"Wolves are a good side, they came out of our league and strengthened so we certainly go into the game as underdogs against a Premiership side at Molyneaux.
"I'll look forward to seeing Dave Jones, he's a good pal of mine and we will have a good go at it, you never know. We'll try our best to win it but we've got a lot of football before that comes around, the league is the most important thing for us."
Manager Stan Ternent secured the services of the Bolton duo on Monday, but isn't as confident of doubling the loan period of Blackburn defender Andy Todd when his initial month loan expires at the weekend.
" We'll have to see what happens as Blackburn have got some injuries so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that Andy can stay," said Ternent.
"Andy wants to stay and play first team football as opposed to playing in the reserves but if he can get in the Blackburn team, obviously he would want to play in the Premiership before he plays in the First Division."
