GREAT Harwood Town moved into the next round of the Division Two Trophy
after defeating neighbours Nelson at the second attempt.
Town earned the right to take the Pendle side back to the Showground after
Saturday's 3-3 draw and they controlled the game from the early stages.
Warren Baker fired the hosts into the lead only 10 minutes into his Robins'
debut with a cool finish after cutting in from the right-hand side.
Paul Mashiter spurned a clutch of opportunities before James Dean sealed the victory deep into the second half with an accurate shot into the top corner after breezing past two Nelson players.
Great Harwood will now entertain Daisy Hill in the quarter-finals and boss John Hughes said: "As I've said before our main priority is the league but we'll enjoy this victory as the lads were excellent from front to back."
