STAFF and pupils at Habergham High School, Burnley, have raised more than £1,000 after taking part in a fancy dress fun run.
They ran two miles in costumes ranging from crocodiles to cheerleaders to raise funds for the school's specialist science and engineering bid.
More than 90 people took part in the run, which has become an annual event in the school's calendar.
Teacher Alan Marsden said: "The run was a great success, we raised much more than we did last year. Fancy dress was optional but a lot of people came in costumes.
A group of year 11 pupils came as a bride and her hen party and there were a lot of '118 runners' from the television adverts."
