BIG Brother star Ray Shah visited Nelson to open a new centre which aims to get young people ready for the world of work and further education.
Ray, who was the runner-up in the fourth series of the popular Channel 4 show, tried out the gym in the e2e centre in Lomeshaye Road and made a recording in its new diary room.
Pendle Training and Nelson and Colne College are behind the new facility, which will be helping remove the barriers that some under-represented groups face when trying to get into learning or work. Programme manager Geoff Dawes said: "We will be able to prepare young people for further education and employment. We will be offering the kind of help that really makes a difference to people's lives by preparing them to make a success of themselves."
