TROUBLED Lancashire holiday group MyTravel today sold its loss-making German business and a smaller Polish operation.
The company, formerly known as Airtours, said it had disposed of Frosch Touristik to a privately- owned German group.
MyTravel also sold its two tour operators in Poland, Ving and Itaka, to a consortium including members of the Polish operation's management.
Today's sales are the latest in a string of disposals and other measures by MyTravel, which employs around 400 people at its sites in Accrington and Helmshore, to reduce its net debts, which were recorded at £628.5million at March 31.
MyTravel today said Frosch Touristik (FTi) made an operating loss of £31.2m in the year to September 30.
