LEIGH charities could benefit from cash windfalls from a marathon fund-raising week organised by a kind-hearted radio station.
Manchester Kids Week, Key 103 and Magic 1152's official charity, launches on Monday when radio station presenters stage their shows from workplaces around the region.
And, at the same time The Printworks in the city centre - host venue for the week - will be encourage visitors to their bars, restaurants and nightspots to make donations and have the opportunity of winning a new Porsche Boxster car.
In addition, businesses at The Printworks are launching a series of initiatives encouraging their customers and guests to join in the fun and ultimately raise money for the charity.
Clare Griffiths, Manchester Kids charity manager, said: 'Our charity aims at making a difference to young people's lives across the area.
"We welcome applications from local children's charities to contact us should they need financial help - and also help us to raise money for this marvellous Manchester Kids Week."
