ALL-ROUND school sports star Sean Mountford is to train with the Bolton Wanderers' Academy team.
He is the latest in a conveyor belt of sports professionals coming from Bedford High School, and follows in the footsteps of Michael Tonge (Sheffield United), Darryl Kay (Wigan RL) and Andy Bracek (St Helens RL).
Sean is already on Bolton's books, playing for the under 16 squad, but the latest move is a big step up and an indication of his future potential.
PE teacher Ian Howarth said: "Sean is one of the outstanding sportsmen in school, a superb badminton player, athlete and footballer who can turn his hand to any sport and do well. Hopefully one day we will see him in the white of Bolton."
