HINDSFORD maintained their unbeaten run with a 2-2 away draw at AFC Blackley.
Hindsford were soon on top and scored an excellent early goal when Neil Critchley turned sharply on a Stuart Lomas pass and cleverly lobbed the stranded home keeper. Hindsford continued to control the game but couldn't add to their lead in the first half.
Blackley came back into the game in the second half but Hindsford made it 2-0 with a superb strike from outside the box by Simon Hampson.
Blackley pulled one back almost immediately and then equalised when they caught Hindsford on the break. Blackley then forced a penalty following a hand ball from a corner but Barry Edge made an excellent stop to win a point.
Hindsford reserves moved into third place with a 6-3 home win against Royton.
