A MAN accused of attempted murder in a shooting incident at Blackburn has been remanded in custody to await trial.
Mark Elliott, 41, of Stone Hill Drive, Blackburn, pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder John Hoban on July 16 this year when he appeared at Preston Crown Court.
He also denied a second charge of possessing a firearm, a handgun, with intent to endanger life.
Mr Hoban was injured in the alleged shooting in Northgate, Blackburn.
A trial date was set for January 13 next year. Elliott was remanded in custody.
