A MUM who overtook a line of traffic at lights, forcing an oncoming car off the road, told police she thought there was a filter lane, a court heard.
Blackburn magistrates were told that Gemma Louise Hollings, who confessed to being a heroin user, had her three-year-old child in the front seat at the time.
And when a police officer questioned her about her appearance she confessed that she was "rattling."
Hollings, 26, of Hollins Grove Street, Darwen, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention in Roman Road, Blackburn. She was fined £60 and her licence endorsed with nine penalty points. A charge of dangerous driving was dismissed.
