THE Red Army will march on Widnes on Sunday.
Leigh Centurions are likely to have a following of 4,000 cheering them on as they bid to win the National League On Grand Final and book a place in Super League.
The National League showpiece final is heading for a 9,000 sell-out as the Centurions and Salford City Reds meet for a seventh time this season.
Leigh's initial ticket allocation of 2,000 was snapped up inside 24 hours of going on sale. Since then another 1,500 have been sold and a further allocation of 500 were expected today.
A dozen coaches and double decker buses are already fully booked as Leigh hope to win a Grand Final for the first time.
Director of Rugby Alex Murphy says: "The response from the fans has been magnificent.
"If we can take 4,000 with us, then it will help the players no end. It will give the team a massive lift to know the whole of the town is behind them."
