A PADIHAM hairdresser is using his mother's courage to make a success of his new business.
Neel Chohan, 26, of Burnley Road, Padiham, has found inspiration from his mum Chandra -- who recently underwent an operation to have her leg amputated -- to launch his new shop.
Neel's Barber's, Burnley Road, was officially opened on Monday with the help of his mate, former Burnley FC player Andy Payton.
Although Chandra couldn't be there, Neel dedicated the opening to his mum, who has been in Burnley General Hospital for a month.
Neel said: "My mum had a heart attack which resulted in a blood clot because her arteries had hardened ,which ended with her leg being amputated. It has been a difficult time for her but through it all she has been there for me and has completely supported me, despite her being so ill.
"After seeing how strong my mum has been throughout the whole experience it has made me even more determined to make a success of things."
