POLICE are appealing for information after two thefts occurred at separate premises in Duckworth Road, Darwen.
They believe both crimes were committed by the same group of teenagers.
Two boys in their early teens went into Unique hairdressers and stole a customer's handbag containing a mobile phone, £100 cash, sunglasses, a purse and credit cards.
Meanwhile, another teenager, who police believe was part of the same gang, went into the Enjoy Yourself Tonight restaurant two doors down and stole a box of wine.
The two incidents happened at around 5.30pm on Thursday, September 25.
Two of the boys were chased from the hairdressers to behind the Darwen Access Point but managed to escape.
The first was described as white, aged 13 to 14, of stocky build, with blond cropped hair which was combed forwards.
He was about 5ft and wore a light green sweatshirt.
His two accomplices were of a similar description to each other.
They were aged 13 to 14, of slim build, with short dark hair, about 5ft.
They wore a white shirt and grey trousers.
