A PRIMARY school's fund-raising efforts have come on in leaps and bounds!
St Paul's CE Primary School, Bury, held a sponsored bouncy castle bounce to raise money for the refurbishment of two of their seven classrooms. Pupils from each of the classes lined up to complete their ten-minute stint on Friday morning, (Sept 26) along with Bury Times reporter Alison Barton who joined in!
The idea came from Margaret Caunce, the school's secretary. The youngsters, from the Porritt Street school, bounded around on two bouncy castles, under the watchful eye of the teachers.
The money will be used to redecorate the reception and year two classrooms after the year one classroom was given a facelift last year.
Headteacher Mr Trevor Croasdale said they were hoping the big bounce would raise about £1,000.
