BUDDING poets from local schools are being sought by the environmental organisation, Groundwork, to take part in an innovative event to mark National Poetry Day on October 9.
Groundwork will be making up the first two lines of a poem and e-mailing it to the first school, which will in turn add two lines and send it on to the next school on the list, and so on.
By the end of the day all of the schools involved will have helped shape the poem. All schools that get involve will receive a copy of the completed poem.
Any school wishing to take part should contact Martin Evans at Groundwork on 01254 265163 or e-mail him at martin.evans@groundwork.org.uk
