MEDIA hospitality at Ewood Park - a mug of steaming tea, maybe a biscuit or two, and the traditional half-time cup of soup.
That's all well and good, but it doesn't really relieve the pre-match tension for reporters, photographers and pundits as excitement gathers before kick-off.
So Blackburn Rovers' main sponsors came up with the dream solution for the assorted press pack on Sunday - a free neck and shoulders massage!
The girls from HSA were on hand in the Ewood press room offering the free massages before the home game with Fulham and, needless to say, the assorted journos were scrambling for a piece of the action as if they were gathering for the post-match press conference.
But as well as a mean massage, health firm HSA also delivered a serious message by way of an information leaflet that said, 'one massage a week can help relieve stress and nerves.'
So the perfect way to unwind before a thrill-a-minute, rough-and-tumble Premiership encounter - or Blackburn v Fulham!
