A WOMAN has been attacked by carjackers in the grounds of Bury's Fairfield General Hospital.
She was in the driver's seat of her silver Honda Civic car when a man, wearing a balaclava ordered her out of the vehicle.
The 40-year-old woman refused to open her car door but was then hit with a wrench.
The terrified woman then got out of the car and the man sped off. Police are still trying to trace the car, registration ML03 LLA.
Police say the carjacker arrived in the hospital grounds in a blue Sierra car driven by a second man. The Sierra was later found abandoned in Devon Street, Bury.
