RAMSBOTTOM United manager Andy Grimshaw is brimming with confidence ahead of tonight's visit to Atherton LR.
The Rams recovered from 2-0 down to snatch a point in North West Counties Division One on Saturday and the boss was delighted with the way his players fought back.
He said: "We were 2-0 down and could have been three down before we got our act together but all credit to the lads.
"We gave it a real in the second half and should have won the game.
"They showed a lot of character and they are playing for each other, which is a massive confidence booster to myself more than anything else.
"The hardest thing about Atherton is the ground, which will be a mess. It's not the best place to go but you have to go to these grounds and get results.
"I'm looking forward to it. We have gone a lot of games unbeaten now and confidence is high in the side."
New signings Will Archer and Robbie Smith are likely to be involved tonight but Mark Brown will be rested.
Grimshaw added: "He picked up a knock on Saturday so I'm leaving him out to let him get right for this Saturday."
