CHARITY donors from Nelson will hear about the good work being done with their money in some of the poorest parts of Africa.
Christian Aid's field officer for Kenya, Lillian Wathe, will visit the town next week to talk to the charity's supporters about what their cash is achieving in the country.
She will speak at a meeting entitled, A Celebration of Christian Aid in East Lancashire, to be held at Nelson United Reformed Church, in Brunswick Street, at 7.30pm.
It will be attended by supporters of the charity as well as churchgoers and anyone interested. Lillian will give an overview of the charity's work in Kenya as well as a detailed insight into specific projects which are changing lives in some of the poorest communities.
