A MAN brandishing a machete held up a post office delivery van in Radcliffe on Monday.
Staff had pulled up outside the Radcliffe Hall post office on Cross Lane at 11.25am when a man approached and threatened them with the weapon, forcing them to hand over their delivery, which included vouchers and stamps.
The man made a getaway in an L registered Mitsubishi people carrier, which was later abandoned in Howard Street, Radcliffe.
The robber is believed to have then transferred into an R registered dark green BMW with two other men, which was also later abandoned in Cross Street, Radcliffe.
