DARWEN Morris Dancers have finished off their season in style by returning from the end of year championships with a host of medals and trophies.
Around 60 girls aged three to 16 competed at the event at Pontins in Southport against hundreds of other morris dancers.
The babies, aged between three and six years, came fourth, the tinies, aged ten to 12 years, were fifth and the juniors, aged between 12 and 16 years, came fifth.
Leader Mia Otley won the leaders medal while Amber Jackson, Jessica Hall, Carley Taylor and Natasha Dineen won marching medals.
In the Troupe of the Year awards, which were given out at the same event, the babies came third, the dinkies came fifth, the tinies finished fourth and the juniors came fifth.
The Darwen troupe also won a trophy for the Tiny Mascot, the tinies won the special award for effort, the juniors won the award for the most road parades throughout the year and Jessica Hall, Natasha Dineen and Donna Bowles won awards for the most marching medals throughout the year.
