YOUNGSTERS in Rossendale have no excuse for being bored during the school half-term holidays with a variety of schemes organised for their benefit.
Rossendale Sports Development Team has put together a timetable of events to take place across the borough later this month.
Bacup's Thorn Primary School will have indoor athletics, football, cricket, racket sports and basketball from October 27 to 29.
Children aged between nine and 13 are invited to take part in the sessions which run from 10am to 3pm and cost £15 for the three days.
In addition, Bacup Leisure Hall will offer relay races, ball and racket skills and competitions for children aged between five and eight.
The sessions will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm on the same three days and will cost £15.
