CLITHEROE came out winners in this top of the table clash thanks to two second half goals.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half after Clitheroe goalkeeper Kris Richens conceded a corner from which poor marking allowed Clive Brown to head home at the far post.
Clitheroe had to wait until the 56th minute for their equaliser following good play from Chris Whittingham. His tricky run and cross was parried by the Woodley keeper and the ball dropped invitingly to Stewart Parkinson, who fired home for his second goal in three games since joining the club.
Cryer eventually settled the game on 82 minutes after John Paul Fagan's curling free kick was planted perfectly onto the head of Cryer, who made no mistake from close range.
