IT'S back to the dream this weekend as Radcliffe Boro attempt to sideline Buxton in the FA Cup third qualifying round writes Marc Higginson
Boro head to Derbyshire in buoyant mood following two successive victories in the league.
In addition, the Boro squad has been boosted by the arrival of ex-Manchester City and West Ham star Ian Bishop from Burscough while the deal for experienced central defender Shaun Teale could be back on.
Bishop is cup-tied for this weekend's game but made his debut in Tuesday's fantastic 6-3 win over his former club.
That high-scoring game means Boro are the UniBond Premier League's top scorers.
However, they also have the unenviable record of having the league's highest goal against column.
The crowds are certainly being entertained and with Boro lying in 13th place things are looking a lot rosier than last week when Altrincham inflicted Boro's fourth defeat in a row.
Glendon will hope his strikers continue to fire but his defence tightens up and the signing of Teale might prove the missing link.
Boro striker Jody Banim is joint-top in the league's highest scorers charts with eleven goals. He is now starting to re-capture his form of last season that saw him bag 45 in all competitions.
Simon Carden's brilliant hat-trick at Burscough means he is the second Boro midfielder to net three times in a game following Gary Sampson's exploits against Wakefield and Emley.
Meanwhile, Glendon has signed up youngster Davey Luker on a year-long contract after his excellent displays in Boro's start to the season. The midfielder has been forced into defence following a back-line crisis and has responded magnificently.
