POLICE found a wrap of amphetamine when they took a man into custody, a court was told.
Burnley magistrates heard how Damian Parker, 25, had a number of drug offences on his record.
The defendant, recently banned from driving for three years, was given another, 12-month disqualification. He admitted possessing amphetamine, allegations of using an uninsured vehicle, no MOT and failing to surrender.
Parker, of New Market Street, Colne, was given a 12 months conditional discharge, with £35 costs.
Richard Taylor, defending, said Parker, who was on benefits, could afford to buy an old banger but not to run it legitimately.
