AN outline planning application has been submitted to build two three-storey semi-detached houses with garages, including details of siting and access, at the former Rosegrove Library Garage site, in Snowden Street.

THE final bowling competition of the year at Lowerhouse Bowling Club -- the Derek Gawthorpe Memorial Shield -- was won by Fred Roberts, of Owen Street, Rosegrove. Runner-up was Arthur Aspden. Many thanks to Mrs Gawthorpe who sponsored the competition and presented the trophy.
STUART Caddy, ward councillor for Rosegrove/Lowerhouse, has been very busy at his Saturday morning surgeries at Rosegrove Library dealing with residents' concerns.
IT has been brought to the attention of the police that motorists are ignoring parking regulations and parking on single yellow lines, double yellow lines and at bus stops. Motorists face a fixed penalty fine of £40 and three penalty points if they are caught.
