TYLDESLEY UTD...1 FAIRFIELD...3: FAIRFIELD returned down the East Lancs Road with all three points despite a below par performance.

Adie Haslam headed them into the lead midway through the first half only for Tyldesley to hit back with a well-taken effort.

Ten minutes later Fairfield were back in front when Chris Hutchinson curled in a beautiful 30-yard strike.

In the second period striker Chris Adams had to be substituted after colliding with an opposing player and breaking his nose.

With only a couple of minutes left on the clock Fairfield wrapped up the three points when last week's hero Rob Wilcox broke clear and grabbed his fourth goal in two weeks.

Fairfield are back at Hoyles Park this week against Ainsworth.
