LEIGH Centurions have headed off interest from Salford and Hull KR and signed up star half-back John Duffy for another two years.
And in a triple swoop Leigh have signed ex-Widnes pair Dan Potter and Chris Percival and big Keighley back rower Oliver Wilkes.
Leigh are delighted that Duffy has pledged is future at Hilton Park. Executive director Derek Beaumont says: "There was a lot of outside interest in John, but the bottom line is he's passionate about playing for Leigh. He's the type of player we want here."
Australian centre Potter began his career with Dewsbury and played in the 2000 Grand Final against Leigh. He then moved to Widnes and had a short spell on loan with Oldham last season.
Winger Percival has spent the majority of his career at the Halton Stadium but, like Potter, ended last season on loan at Oldham. Both have penned one year deals with Super League options.
Ex-Halifax man Wilkes has just completed an outstanding season with Keighley and has been selected for NL2, Cumbria and Scotland.
Admission prices
Leigh have also revealed that admission prices for next season will rise to £11 and £6 but if tickets are purchased from the club shop in advance, the prices reduce to £10 and £5.
Season ticket prices for next season will remain unchanged.
Several kit sponsorship deals have already been concluded. Econoloft's name will be on the back of the shirt with Padken becoming shorts sponsors. Two collar sponsorships have been agreed with the club in talks with a major brewing brand to take over as main shirt sponsors.
Next season's kit will be supplied by Kukri with another re-design planned.
Meanwhile, Directors of Rugby, Alex Murphy says Leigh's recruitment drive in other areas is going well. The Centurions are in contract talks with as many as a dozen potential targets. But Leigh can't afford them all and hope to be able to 'cherry-pick' the top five or six.
Hilton Park's top brass are also talking to those of last season's squad who are out of contract and are confident of retaining the majority.
