PEOPLE in Blackburn could be taking a Walk on the Wild Side during the next few weeks as part of a series of workshops being organised by The Wildlife Trust.
The Trust, in conjunction with Surestart Blackburn, has arranged for the craft workshops to take place at community centres in Shadsworth, Accrington Road and Whitebirk.
They will include craft sessions, such as making pumpkin lanterns and natural Christmas decorations, as well as workshops to learn how to make pumpkin soup and tree dressing. There will also be nature walks and seed gathering sessions.
The workshops at Shadsworth Community Centre will take place on Wednesday, October 29, Wednesday, November 26 and December 17.
They will be held at Whitebirk today, November 24 and December 22 and at Accrington Road Community Centre on November 11 and December 3.
All the sessions will be held between 11am and noon.
