MAVERICK politician George Galloway was in Bury to vent his anger less than 48 hours after being expelled from the Labour Party.
The high-profile Glasgow MP kept a Friday evening engagement at Bury Arts and Crafts Centre, where his anti-war speech was greeted with applause and shouts of support from the audience. Around 300 people attended the Bury Stop the War Coalition event, a day after Mr Galloway was dismissed from the party over comments made during the Iraq war.
